Valerie Shamim

Valerie is the Group Benefits Manager for Hendricks and Associates. She joined our team January 2013. She moved to Northern Nevada from Boise, Idaho in 2010 and has been in the insurance industry for past 20 years. With a background in Employer Group Health, COBRA and FMLA administration, Valerie brings an array of experience to her work at Hendricks and Associates. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Idaho. In her free time, Valerie loves nothing more than spending time in the great outdoors, hiking, kayaking or paddle boarding with her husband and three grown daughters. She enjoys traveling, music, good ethnic food and you can always catch her taking pictures of her food.
